Spirit of the Written Word
FREE for people affected by cancer
We create a safe and comfortable setting where we can write and share our stories, our cancer journeys, our memories, our hopes and fears. Everything is confidential and voluntary as we follow our pens to find meaning and healing. I provide “prompts” – poems, phrases, stories, to get us going.
For survivors and support persons who want to explore the transformative power of writing in a workshop setting. No writing experience required.
It helped me to think more deeply about what had happened and also about my life now. I appreciated the opportunity to put my feelings down on paper, to share and to hear what others had to say. ~ a participant
